Ben Skiadas
Ben Skiadas is a community-driven restaurateur, entrepreneur, and lifelong Owensboro native who’s helping shape the city’s modern food and culture scene. From growing up in his family’s landmark, The Famous Bistro, to launching Lure Seafood & Grille, The Lot Food Truck Park & Events, and Lure Smoke Shack, Ben has built spaces that celebrate connection, creativity, and hometown pride. During the pandemic, he led local relief efforts and co-founded A Good Note, a nonprofit supporting service-industry families in need. A believer in “community over competition,” Ben continues to blend hospitality, music, and generosity to keep Owensboro’s spirit thriving — one meal, one event, and one good note at a time.
